Coco Fusco was invited to participate in The Studio Museum in Harlem's Harlem Postcards project in 2008. Fusco chose to document the activities ant the U.S. Army Recruiting Center on 125th street, but was not issued clearance to take any photographs by the Army nor by the recruiters, so she surreptitiously took photographs.
