Jack Tworkov was a founding member of the New York School, along with Willem de Kooning, Philip Guston, Jackson Pollock, and Franz Kline, whose gestural paintings of the 1950s formed the basis for the Abstract Expressionist movement in America. Organized by Jason Andrew, this exhibition presents paintings from the 1970s, including a loan from the collection of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York.
