Alexander Gray Associates
Alexander Gray Associates is a contemporary art gallery and advising firm based in New York. Our exhibition program focuses on mid-career visual artists who emerged in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. Through consulting and collection advising, we provide expertise and educational experiences for our individual and corporate clients. Our ultimate goal is to provide a direct experience with Modern and contemporary art that encourages discourse around art's role in the advancement of culture.
Alexander Gray
Prior to establishing the Gallery, Alexander Gray held numerous leadership positions in the arts, including Artadia: The Fund for Art and Dialogue; Artpace San Antonio; Art Matters Foundation; the National Campaign for Freedom of Expression; Visual AIDS; and the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Gray is a trustee of the Archipenko Foundation, the Art Matters Foundation, and serves on the Board of Corporators for the Hartford Art School. He has lectured extensively at schools and universities, including New York University; Yale University; The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; UCLA; and Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA.
